Hybernate is committed to caring for the environment which is why we are thoughtful about what we make, how we make it and how we deliver it to you.
Our pima cotton is grown in Peru and is carefully harvested by hand. The farmers use bird waste as a natural fertilizer, which is collected on nearby coastal islands.
Hybernate sleepwear is made of a superior quality and highly durable fabric so it will outlast your other sleepwear. This means its environmental footprint will be significantly less as it is a garment’s longevity that has the most significant impact on how sustainable an item is.
Hybernate’s collection is made in Lima, Peru by a Peru Fair Trade certified manufacturer. This certification ensures you can be confident the people making your clothes work in good conditions and are paid and treated fairly.
Our packaging has also been thoughtfully considered.
In an effort to reduce waste, you’ll only receive one box which is made of 100% recycled paper and no plastic packaging.
Your Hybernate pieces are lovingly wrapped in our FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified tissue paper which means the paper has been sourced in an environmentally-friendly, socially responsible and economically viable manner. The paper is also acid free and uses soy ink which is more environmentally friendly and makes it easier to be recycled.
The enclosed invoice is printed on 100% cotton which has been sourced from the waste part of the cotton plant.
This is just the start for us, and as we grow, we continue to look at further ways we can help be as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible.
